Klipsch’s award winning Image headphones lineup has been expanded to add the X5 headphones. The new and slightly larger headphones come in at a much more affordable price point for audiophiles - without giving up audio quality.

The Image X5’s is 2mm larger than its predecessor but still remains lightweight. The headphones feature Contour Ear Gels made of soft, oval silicon for a comfortable and non-fatiquing fit. The gels come in five different sizes for perfect fit. The X5’s also feature electroplated aluminum housing and flexible tail to reduce cable stress and minimize cable noise.

Klipsch’s Image X5’s work with Apple iPhone and iPod lineup and any other device that will accept a standard headphone jack. The sales package includes a storage pouch, airline adaptor, ear gels, and ear gel cleaning tool.

The Image X5’s will be available this summer for US$249.
