Aliph releases Jawbone 2 Bluetooth headset for AT&T
Aliph, the maker of the Jawbone headset, has updated its original Bluetooth headset design and released the Jawbone 2. This new Bluetooth headset sports a slimmer and sleeker look, reducing its size by 50%, and is made with medical grade plastic. The new Jawbone 2 weighs less than half an ounce (0.4oz/10g) and is exclusive to U.S. wireless carrier AT&T.
The new headset uses NoiseAssassin technology, which was developed by DARPA (The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) for the military to help out in noisy environments. Aliph advertises that the Jawbone 2 transmits 90% less ambient noise.
Aliph’s Jawbone 2 sales package comes with two leather bound ear loops, two slim-styled loops, and three earbuds to ensure the right fit. The headset is available now with AT&T for US$129.99 and comes in black, sliver or rose.
